Question What type of tuner?

Hey guys,
Just need opinions of which type of flash tuner would be best to consider? And are these something MT is thinking about listing for sale? I'm probably going to buy one but need to hear the forums thoughts and would definitely rather buy from MT if possible.

I'm a huge fan of SCT's software myself. They have proven themselves to be a very successful and helpful company. Not only do they make great gains and have all features and options all the others do, but their customer service is fantastic. I am ordering mine after the n2o and cams are in. Just my $.02 though, there are quite a few other great options as well.

What are you looking to do with the car? what mods do you have done already? That would make recommendations easier as well.

I don't have a bunch yet but here are the performance mods so far:

04 GT Automatic
K&N FIPK
C&L Plenum
70mm TB
SLP Loudmouth Cat-back

Going to get the Steeda UD pulleys and I've heard that I should get the 4.10's for the 4r70w. I want to get as many performance mods done before going with the tuner. What do you guys suggest?

Good call, tuner can save you on the speedcal, mil eliminators if you get an O/R mid-pipe, no need for a timing adjuster, and can pick out your shift points on your auto. Look into SCT at least, www.modulardepot.com has alot of good info on SCT software if you wanna take a look. I would wait til you got the gears and if your gonna get a O/R mid-pipe, then wait for that too.

I've got the Diablo with my 01. It helped adjust the ship points some and calibrated for the 3:73 gears. As of power performance I could only tell a small improvement. I guess it was worth it especially since it can read any fault codes and erase them. By the time you would pay for a code reader, speed cal, and t/a you could have a programmer.
