Default SCT or Diablo

SCT XCalibrator
SCT XCalibrator 2
Diablo Predator

Which one shoud I get ??? and what are the differances ?
I have a 2005 Mustang GT (Auto)
Street Strip use, as well as a commuter car, and trips.

CURRENT MODS
K&N Air Charger
SLP Loudmouths
Steeda underdrive pulleys

FUTURE MODS
Ignition
Trottle Body
Electric Water Pump
And what ever bolt-on mod that increases performance

I do not think I will get a SC or Blower, ever.. Just to much $$$
But then again you'll never know

yup, with the extreme software with the xcal you can modify your tunes... here is a link to it... http://www.sctflash.com/xtreme.php

You download new tunes for the Diablo via the website, so they are really not custom tunes. Now with the xcal, you contact a SCT Dealer who can custom make tunes for mods on your car. Which get the most out of the mods in which you get on your car. Don't get me wrong the Diablo is a good tuner, just Xcal can just be tuned with much more detail.

As well as that, the Diablo has different models, they have a whole separate model for the 05 GT. And another for the 99-04 Models. Check it out...

we did a dyno comparo on an 04 cobra and found the sct tune a bit stronger ( by 4 rwhp and 8 tq ) but the predator has less bugs in it...

we've had a few sct's act up on us

The most important thing to consider is what does the nearest reputable dyno shop prefer to use..

That will make it easier to get a dyno tune if you do major mods.
