4.6 Horsepower Max
#3
You can run any power you can tune without detonation/pining. I'd stop at about 400-450 and realize that your engine life has been shortened anyway by putting more power in it than it was designed to run.

The trans can only handle 450 though. But, if you break the trans it's all the more reason to do a T-3650 swap and get a 6-speed in that bad boy. I'd probably close it up around 400-450 until you can afford to build the motor and buy a bullet-proof trans. I've seen GT's blow the trans with just bolt-ons before and it's not that pretty.

wow...two people with simialar names, i got all sorts of confused.
its t-56 not t-3650
as to the original poster, i wouldnt run more than 450rwhp. if you wanna run more than that on a stock lower end unless you have a relief fund to build a new short block.

Almost every tuner will tell you 430-450rwhp is max on the 05-09 cars, and that is pushing it. Most tune them down to the 420-430rwhp rang to be safer. Which is still a **** ton of power for a daily driver.

Actually it's not. It's the TR6060 or the T3650. The T-56 does not work in the S197's. Thank you.
