Default ignition?

not to sure if this is the right forum for this so sorry in advance! i was thinkin its been a while since i had my spark plugs changed and it would probably be a good idea and my buddy that does my work said it would be a good idea to get new wired while im at it but i have no idea on anything about ignition components and was wondering if i could get a little help! what kind of plugs, wires anything would help thanks!

sorry i forgot to mention that i have a 2001 gt automatic with 100,000 miles on it and my mods are BBK CAI, Steeda UDP, 4.10 gears, diablo sport programer, and Hooker LT headers with off road X and borla stinger cat back

He is talking about spark plug wires and 99+ does not have them so dont worry it doesn't apply to you.

thanks so if it doesnt have wires then what does it have? AM has a GMS coil pack kit but ive heard those are crap are there any other brands? or is it even worth replacing that would my stock bee fine?

The 99+ have whats called coil on plug or COP as everyone calls its. Its an individual coil for every spark plug. Its very efficient and does not need to be replaced unless it stops working which doesn't happen often. Spend your money else where for power gains. For a tune up just toss in new plugs,fuel filter, and PCV valve, and air filter. For spark plugs on cars without any nitrous or other power adders I would use NGK TR55 plugs.

Most any basic aout parts store will carry NGK's and other stuff
probly will cost around $25 for new plugs
i just helped my budy do his

its like $17 for plugs. And like he said just go to your local autoparts store.
