He is talking about spark plug wires and 99+ does not have them so dont worry it doesn't apply to you.

thanks so if it doesnt have wires then what does it have? AM has a GMS coil pack kit but ive heard those are crap are there any other brands? or is it even worth replacing that would my stock bee fine?

Stephen4036 10-03-2008 05:08 PM

wait how do u not have spark plug wires.

spike_africa 10-03-2008 06:15 PM

The 99+ have whats called coil on plug or COP as everyone calls its. Its an individual coil for every spark plug. Its very efficient and does not need to be replaced unless it stops working which doesn't happen often. Spend your money else where for power gains. For a tune up just toss in new plugs, fuel filter, and PCV valve, and air filter. For spark plugs on cars without any nitrous or other power adders I would use NGK TR55 plugs.

thanks spike lol where would you suggest finding those things? i dont see any on AM

M_Stang 10-04-2008 06:57 AM

Most any basic aout parts store will carry NGK's and other stuff
probly will cost around $25 for new plugs
i just helped my budy do his
"If it aint Broke" "Dont Fix it"
Unless U get Sig HP gains

spike_africa 10-05-2008 05:01 AM
