Engine swap

I am looking to swap the engine on an 01 gt and am looking for helpful information such as books, manuals, threads, and ect. any suggestions?

I haven't given any thought to a 5.4 I was just going to go with a built 4.6, maybe a built 5.4 is an option worth looking at.

why do a swap. if you want to build a 4.6 build up your 4.6
