Default FRPP CAI...Worth the $$ on a 2007GT/CS?

2007 GT/CS....

Newbie the the mods dept...
So far FRPP stingers, FRPP x-pipe converter, and would love some feedback on where to go next.

Long tubes? CAI? Underdrive Pulleys? Short throw?

I see alot of guys with various aftermarket CAIs, however, still have four years to go on my factory warranty. FR warranty's the CAI if they install.

Any of you guys have any problems installing/flashing any of your own CAI and would you recommend if at all?

-thoughts...?

There is nothing about istalling a CAI that will "void" your warranty except anything directly related to it. Maybe the warranty on the MAF meter could be the only iten that would be "voided." That goes for just about any aftermarket modification you make on your car. The dealer does not have any right to make a blanket statement that your enitre bumper-to-bumper warranty becomes void because of a single modification. They can only claim such a thing if the failure was a direct result of the installation of said aftermarket part.

The FRPP kit is what's used in the Shelby GT, GT-H, and the Mustang Bullitt so if they give you problems w/ warranty, stick that in their face.

anyone on here already have the FRPP CAI installed...?
and if so does it really wakes the car up...or not worth the 700 bucks...

reason being...was asking around and heard different opinions about various CAI...

-Steeda CAI is getting 30+ rwhp with a diablosport or predator tuner, yada yada....
the FRPP kit only getting 10 rwhp with its own factory flasher...(?)

K&N is the way to go, 20+ rwhp...if you have probs just swap it back to stock, etc...

What about installing long tube headers? what difference will that make from what I have now...

Go with a CAI and a tune. Pick your CAI, it doesn't really matter. I'd go with the Steeda, but thats just me.

I know...steep for only getting a few horses....Thats what Im trying to clear up. It seems all of these companies claim they make gains in horsepower and torque, but I am not sold....

but hey, it is with a flasher. So you can flash and reflash back to stock at any point.

thats why I was asking if anyone put on the FRPP CAI...or a steeda or rousch or K & N...and if a speed shop could tune it for me without buying a flasher.

Stupid add on I am starting to think...
