Default slp mufflers

sup guys, first post. i was wanting to know if anybody knew anything about the slp bullet style and shotgun style mufflers, not the full catback.i was curious about their sound and performance ,did they sound as good as flowmasters ,is the performance as good.any help would be great ,i have a 2001 cobra and was wanting to know what would be the most aggressive sounding muffler, thanks

do you like deep lower rumble with a horrid drone zone??
or do you like LOUD pure loudness coming from your exhaust tips?? (if you have an O/R pipe)
the if you like loud look at slp

if you don't like it too loud, then the SLP LM 2's would be great for your car...they're kind of like Flowmasters, but they sound more aggressive, and they don't the severe highway drone that Flo's do.

i don't want anything that sounds retarded like having the mufflers cut off ,i just want a loud deep rumble ,i know what flows sound like my wife has them on GT bullit . i need something more aggressive ,i'm not sure if mine being a cobra will make a difference in the sound
p.s-mixed breed i'd like to put a 40.cal rd through will '' his momma told him he was funny'' farrell's head

Then SLP is for you.

i had the shotgun style on my 01Gt. they are LOUD and mine had a horrible drone at 65-70mph (if i would have change the gears it would have improved dramatically) once you get to about 75 it gets better, but in that drone zone it was obnoxious. but GREAT in town. i went with Magnaflow on my 07

Listen to these SLP setups and decide. I like my slp powerflo mufflers no drone, no more headaches.https://mustangboards.com/mustang/pi...ry.php/cat/508

that is all i want is the mufflers then i 'm gonna replace the stock h pipe with an o/r x pipe for better flow. not sure if i'm going catted or not, emissions in nc is a bitch unless you know someone who will inspect it for you (which i do),still hadn't decided lm1 or 2,will the cat back make a diff or will just the mufflers be fine?

if u go with an o/r x, u would probably prefer lmII, mufflers would be fine if u have all the exhaust piping, a catback comes w/ everything u need
