lm 1 is just a hollow tube, while lm 2's have packing in them.

Actually it is just a hollow tube. No packing whatsoever in loudmouth 1's. here's the link. http://www.slponline.com/modular_exhaust.asp its down at the bottom, just scroll your mouse over them an it shows the inside.

im just guessing....but if they look like they have resonators....even if they are hollow...any shop will install them...its pretty hard to find a place that will install strait pipes

So whats the big diff between straights and loudmouth?
Do they consider the resonators a muffler or something? Do the resonators actually do anything? alter the pitch?...

i have straights. Nice long fat ass hollow tubes with some big ol hairy 3.5in chrome tips. No resonators farting out some foriegn tune here.

VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM

Straights must be illegal in certain places, Mineke wouldnt do it unless i had mufflers, Midas was willing, but they were expencive. I had a local exhaust specialist do mine, threw in the 3in xpipe, chrome tips, all for half the price Midas would do it for.

250 out the door!

The SLP systems are all precisely tuned. Straight peipes are just that. That is pretty much the difference.
