My 99Gt just went over 100,000 miles.. I don't plan of getting rid of the car..I want more power.. The car is currently stock engine wise. What should I do. Rebuild, overhaul before I add any power to it...Any suggestions would be helpful. My gt is 5speed w/king cobra clutch, eibach sportlines and tokico hp shocks and struts. Thats all I have done so far...

rebuild isnt necessary....Id work on putiing a S/C on it or you could build the engine first. Building the engine would be a better investment since youll be keeping the car, but its more expensive.... S/C can always come after you get it broken in....

I would build the engine first. If you are wanting something to be faster now though you could get some gears.

If the motor runs fine dont bother spending money to rebuild it. Gear it/tune it and add some exhaust so it sounds good/makes more power.

err...unless you plan on making it a power house, just do the basic bolt ons. Dont get all crazy with it if you didnt take care of it the first 100k incase it breaks down soon...
