stage 2 cam/ head question
#2
assuming you upgrade the valvesprings to match the cam performance it'll be able to spin to the advertised end of the powerband which should be around 6500rpm. 6500rpm would be the stopping point for me without a built bottom end designed for high rpm. if a rod comes unglued at 6500 things will get smelly fast. In any case you'll also be limited by the stock PI intake.
A lot of that depends on the cam specs and the valve train components so being slightly more specific on the parts and mods already done would help.

i have no real mods as of yet. its still my DD, but won't be within a year or so. I plan to do a stage 2 cam/ head swap with new valves/ springs/ lifters, etc. I am leaning towards VT, not only because they have a good reputation, but they are a Michigan company and i live in Michigan (gotta support the home team). I wasn't really looking for and exact number just a good idea. I also am tossing around the idea of an intake upgrade such as the hardball'r, or the trick flow , im not sure on that step yet, its a lot of money to throw at something that may or may not work.
