Got 3.73's?? Get in
I hear that 4.10's is the way to go ...unless you do alot of highway driving or have a supercharger........
My question is....when u switched from the stock gears to the 3.73 gear did the car accel faster? did u notice a difference? Is it more alive? I just wanna know if its worth getting the 3.73 or just staying with stock gears...

I have the 4.10s in my auto which is supposed to be comparable to 3.73s in a 5 speed, but a friend of mine put 3.73s and he noticed a big difference in accelerating. When i was shopping around for gears i emailed steeda and a few other companies and asked their techs what they recommend for my application and they were very helpful and knowledgable.

I Installed 3.73 Gears In My Auto And Noticed A Huge Gain In Acceleration And Yet The Car Was Very Streetable. I Installed A Set Of 4.10 Gears And Felt A Little More Acceleration, but Didn't Care For The Extra Rpms The Engine Now Runs. I Will Be Installing A Set Of 3.90 Gears This Week To Split The Difference (my 4.10 Gears Were Noisey And The Rear End Had To Come Apart Anyway's) If The 3.90 Gears Werent Available I Would Rather Have 3.73 Gears For A Daily Driver. The 02 And Newer 5 Speeds Do Run A Lot Less Rpms In 5th Than The Automatic Trans Cars Though. The Gear Replacement Will Be One Of The Best Bangs For The Buck You Can Do,it Makes The Car A Whole New Animal!

Yes, youll notice a huge improvement with the 3.73s, but, unless you are getting a blower, get the 4.10s. If you are getting a supercharger, then yes, get the 3.73s. They are a great gear and Ive had tons of fun with them.

I would say for your set-up and future S/C you cant go wrong with 3:73s! That was my first gear swap and it felt great and driveability is awesome still! I had the FRPP brand !No noise whats so ever very good gears! I went with Richmond 4:10 gears on a friends recomendations cause they are very strong but they whine :angry3: feel good though cause my car is not S/C

4.10s for NA, 3.73 for a blower car. Stock gears wouldn't be bad with a roots blower or turbo setup.
Nitrous loves gears as well so at least 4.10s with nitrous.
I have my 3.73's and a vortech blower. It's pretty much the perfect gear

EIther gear will be a big help.
Personally ive run 3:73's since 99 .And ive never had one regreat about getting them.
N/a it was a nice sotp feel, and with a blower they felt just as good.
The difference on the highway is 200 rpms between the two(just add 200 rpms for every step up in gear from stock) .SO its really up to you.

well if i buy the brg kit, crush sleeve, nut and seals that would come out to around 150.00 i appreciate the reply but ive have seen quite a few new complete kits for 150.00, ford racing kits, i might consider if the price was alittle more competitive, what do you think? any pictures so i could see the gears?

I PURCHASED A MASTER BRG INSTALL KIT BY MOTIVE GEAR WITH ALL THE SEALS AND CRUSH SLEAVE AND NUT FROM WWW.BRENSPEED.COM FOR 79.95 INCLUDING FREE SHIPPING. DID I MENTION I LOVE THE 3.90 GEARS?
