Default help with a decision

current mods:
3.73 gears, PI intake, Steeda UD Pulleys

My next mods were going to be K&N FIPK, Mac O/R H-pipe, and Magnapacks(no Im not going to get headers any time soon, so I will be going with the H-pipe made for shortys). Ill have to get the magnapacks last, but right now my parents said that they would get me either the intake or the mid-pipe. Which one should I get first? Thanks

exhuast system should be done a CAI does little for power. Our intakes are actully pretty good for stock untill you have alot of mods done. A simple used K&N filter with the silencer removed is good for you for now.

And i assume your car is a 96-98 isnt it?

yessir it is. I actually had an additional question. I was listening to some sound clips and I really like the flowmaster 40 series. Do most people just buy the muffles and have them installed?

You can do that but you might as well buy the whole kit. Personally, I prefer the Flowmaster tips over the stock ones since they aren't cut flush to the bumper.

if you are going to get some power going wiht this motor like PI head swap and some cams later on etc.. basicly if you want all the power you can get out of your car do the catback. While the hp gains are small (5-6rwhp is about it) just adding mufflers to the stock piping will add maybe 1hp as its still goign threw those little 2 1/4" pipes. I want all i could get out of my car hence why i went for a full catback and not just weld up mufflers. Its up to you though.
