Default Stage 3 Cams and heads?

Are stage 3 cams and stage 3 heads too wild for a DD? When I get my MMR 900 shortblock, I just want to do it up right the first time.

id go VT stage 1 or 2 heads w/ VT stage 2 cams (n/a for no s/c or blower for blown cars) or miles per hour custom grind cams

15-20#'s of boost would be at around 500-550 alone....add on another 20-30 for the cams depending on what ur exhaust is...

i hope that your not planing that on a stock rotating assembly...if u are and u do...there will be boost for a while

It is not a stock rotating assembly I was told it can hold this setup I was thinking of doing the same setup.

a really big cam is only good for a car that spends most of its time racing. For a daily driver try and stay with a more street oriented part. VT stage 2's are showing really killer power gains. The smaller comp XE series (270 and below) are usually pretty streetable.

Super big port jobs on 2v heads NA is good only at really high rpm. For street any of the stage 2 port jobs on the market should be good.
