How much power can a 1998 gt trans and block handle? Thanks

trans(t-45) can't with-stand ****! the block prob around 350 400 i dunno cant remember

the block itself can handle upwards of 700. But the internals you shouldn't put past 400. Idk bout the tranny, i drive an auto, im a newb

The T45 trans can handle up to 325 ft*lbs of torque, according to Tremec.

unlike 5.0's the modular blocks are wickedly strong. You could easily put 700 through it with a good tune and not worry. The t45 is rated fairly low but you can put 400/400 through it for a long time as long as you understand that the harder you are on it (aka shock loading) the quicker and more catastrophically it'll self disassemble.
