Default Can I clean my throttle body?

I removed the air line and found a sticker telling me do not clean the inside of the throttle body. Any advice on this? I was going to spray the throttle area with carb cleaner to clean out some of the build up, but noticed the warning sticker. I have a '98 GT.

Any auto parts store like autozone etc.. its called "Throttle Body" cleaner.
Or some places have stuff called efi manifold cleaner its basicly the same thing with different name on it. this is safe for o2 sensors and will clean it right.
