Exclamation Cam Install Price???

Has anyone had Cams installed??? If so how much did they charge you for install??

I was quoted 600 bucks awhile back but found someone to do them for 350.

im guessing delk? try joe beegle at dynospeed racing. he cuts you a discount if you post on svtoa of nashville and other local tennessee boards. tell him dale sent you. my car is their right now getting cams done

I was quoted $500 bucks from a reputable shop... ...man those prices are outrageous....

honestly, i would do the install myself if i were you, there are great write ups available and i did a VT stage II install w/ springs and all and it only took a couple of days....plus you have piece of mind knowing that there were no shortcuts taken and that no one beat on your car...plus that 400-600 bucks can to go something else...headers??

i dont remember. i seen so many figures and he is also doing the tune and other stuff too. i just figured i would tell you about them. i dont trust delk. to many come backs and poor customer servics, i never heard 1 bad thing about dynospeed:banana:

well..if u look at christie's car..4 hp under 300 w/ cams and exhaust...and lil things here and there...no intake or that stuff

my car has full exhaust, cai, 75mm tb and plenum, and then udp, like he said im 4 hp under 300

i say its 110% worth it, i love my cams

lol yeah

only reason i would stay away from stage 2's is if you dont want to pay/do it yourself on the valvesprings and you dont like a car that shakes at idle

I'd say get cams in a heartbeat....UNLESS you plan on getting a supercharger. Stage 2 cams hurt the s/c ability to make boost

Ill will just switch cams later on down the road.....because I wont be getting a supercharger any time soon. :censored:
