Default Exhaust Install Price

Just wonderin what you guyz feel I could expect as a good estimate for an exhaust install. I'm getting Spin Tech Side exhaust welded onto my Y pipe. I talked to a guy from one shop and he said $240, you think I can get it from anywhere else cheaper? Or anyone in the DC/Baltimore area got a hook up I could use? Or hell even in the Philli area...or in North Florida...(lol hope this raised my chances)

That sure sounds high, unless that side exhaust has some real intricate things that have to be done.....

if you wanted to drive to south florida i could hook you up with some guys that would do it for much much less. but you would probably pay the difference in gas

Thats definately high for exhaust install. Look elsewhere. I had old flowmasters removed, magnaflows added in and everything buttoned up for like 70 bucks at the Muffler Works here in Lexington. Also, if you really want longtubes, maybe just wait to have the exhaust put on until you get it all together.

yeah, well basically here's what math i've done...$480 for the parts...and from what you guyz are saying 100 for the install thats what I should expect... How much would lowering springs be to be installed/how easy is it to put them on myself?...

You can do them yourself if you have a way to lift it up good and have some mechanical skills.I would't pay more than $100 to have them installed if you go that route.

hmm yeah, i gotcha, from what you guyz sound like it seems way too much, what if springs were included in that install price?...

And more important, well it looks like I need to find a place in the Washington DC, Baltimore, Northern VA area that can do them cheap...or somewhere here in North Florida.
