Default Help on TB

Does the 2002 gt stock throttle body have a mustang on it or not... mine does and when i bought the car there where some mods done to it so i am just wondering..i am new to the gt world so i didn't know if the owner before me bought an after market one from ford..thanks for any help

thanks a lot ...i am planning on getting a supercharger what size tb should i get or does it not even make a differnce and if i get one don't i have to port the manifolds or something to match up...

If you are going S/C go with a 75mm.

lol. Yes, get the 75mm. And you said it was modded, if so, make sure you see if there are aftermarket underdrive pulleys bc superchargers use different pulleys so you could always sell those.

It's actually the plenum with the pony on it, not the TB had to do it, lol

yep... TB has a Ford oval on the top at the mouth but that's about it.

If you're going SC get a upper plenum and 75mm TB combo. NA gets a 70mm and any ol' plenum.

Actually, if you look at the brass blade in the throttle body, there is actually a pony engraved on it.. So, technically, there is a pony on the TB also

In which one... the stocker or the 70? I don't have a stock one anymore.

BTW... Selling 1 near new FRPP 70MM TB w/TPS sensor. Looking for 70 bones shipped. Offers considered.

I just put on a BBK 75 this weekend and was suprised to see the little pony engraved on the blade of the stocker
