the cai puts the filter and mas in the fender. the ram air keeps everything in the engine comp. im running the jlt cai on my car and have no complaints with it.

Mass air flow stays where it is. There is just longer tubing that puts the filter curved and into the fenderwell.

if you are gonna get a cold air intake, get a ram air style where the filter stays inside the bay.

Are you sure?? I thought the JLT CAI put the MAF in the fender as well, I thought that was something special with it.

I personally would still get the RAI, straight shot into the TB/Plenum, larger air filter, and shorter. Just my $.02

Why would anyone wanna have to relocate the MAF sensor just so they can have a "true" cold air....LMAO..

The RAI Will make more power and you dont have to cram the MAF Sensor against the wheelwell. Stay away from the bend at all costs! Plus you can take off your passenger headlight to get even better flow. Plus it looks mean too.

All it is, is that when you take out the headlight, it there's a few holes in the frame part where the back of the headlight is. It's actually the holes where the headlight wiring comes thru and plugs into the headlight. all it does it allow direct air flow into the air filter. Some drag cars do this when running the 1/4.

in a picture i think i saw two intakes where the fog lights are supposed to be.

A) is this possible?

B) if it is, is it worth it?

If you saw two filters where the fog lights were, the bumper was prolly off, and that's called a Twin Turbo

since no one answered your questoin about the bassani x-pipe i'lll give it a try... ALuminized steel will rust and discolor over time just like and other type of metal but stainless steel will not rust or deteriate.. plus the bassani stainless systems have a LIFETIME warrenty so if anything ever happens you'll get it replaced... the aluminized only has a 18 month LIMITED warrenty... if you've got the money go for the stainless.

If you live in a place that snows get the Stainless Bassani. If not and you live someplace rather dry, i.e. desert, So. California, etc. you can get away with the aluminized. I have the aluminized setup and I like it. It's also lighter so thats a plus.
