8 or 14 inch????
Planon gettin a shorty antenna but dont know wat size. Should i go with the 8 or 14 on a red 95? Black? Chrome? Some opinions

i have the 8" w/ no reception problem for when when i use the radio....but i usually have my ipod thats hardwired to my headunit or cds.....

get the 8 inch looks mad nice so far have no reception problems with it and have had it over a month...

sh1t...
it took me 10 min to make 1 of those... you need an antenna that has the same diameter all the way down...(i got one off my pops 87 f150... i had the one with the "swirl goin down it) i just popped the ball off... cut it with an air tool so that is was equal w/ the roof line... smoothed the end with a file... popped the ball back on... and painted it black... looks badass... people ask me where i got it and i tell them i modded it and they say it looks cool... reception is the same (not that i use the radio often) thats the easiest free mod... i dont want to affect MT sales but its a waste to spend $$ on 1... i have before / after pics at home... i'll try to post them this weekend... |
