So, I used to live in San Diego about 13 years ago and just came back for a visit. I have been in LA and in SD the past few days. Here is what I have learned:
1 - The climate is awesome 2 - The traffic is hiddeous! I mean, it is really bad. It is like the entire world is here and they all drive. This is a horrible place to enjoy a fast car since there seems to be no where to drive one. 3 - Not a single fart can to be heard anywhere! I guess Ca. takes there laws seriously about not modding exhaust. Try driving around NYC or NJ and you will here very different sounds. 4 - Does everyone here own a Mustang? I have never seen so many friggin Mustangs in one place. Most are bland stockers or V-6 er's with big ugly rims. If I had my Mustang out here, it would be a total stand-out. It did see one nice Saleen, though. 5 - I don't see many SUV's like we have in PA. However, there were tons parked at any amuzement park that I went to. Maybe that's why you don't see any on the road? 6 - Is a Hummer really needed in LA? Though I did not see as many SUV's a high percentage were Hummers. 7 - In SoCal it is now apparently OK to be white, upper-middle class, and have 24's on your truck. I saw three or four like this. You would not see the same people back home doing this is you know what I mean. 8 - I could once again live in SD, but not in LA. 9 - Did I say that the weather was great?

Just come to SC. Its hot and humid as hell in the summer, cool to cold in the winter, and about one snow a year.

yeah, my wife and I were just out in SD visiting my brother and his family over the holidays. the weather was nice, fishing was good, people were friendly, fuel was about the same price and I dind't find traffic that much different than here in MD:censored: I still saw people making right turns from the left lane on the highway & running stop signs:bash:

Ya you pretty muched described it. Theres alot of mustangs but there mostly v6's. The traffic is horrible at like 5 ish when every one gets off. It is very typical so see a white man rollin on 24s and playin his music loud. But the weather is awesome, in the summer, the nites are fun to cruize because its not cold. I live about 45 min from LA, so its clear sky's out here, not all the smog layered sky's as they have. Hope you had a fun time visiting and it was a good experience

I think the weather in San Diego might be the best in the US. We get pretty good weather in the Bay, but it gets foggy sometimes, which sucks. Yes traffic is horrible just about everywhere in SoCAL. I'm suprised you didn't see more nice stangs there cause I know there are a ton of sweet stangs running around SoCAL.
I played baseball in College so twice a year we'd make the trip to San Diego to play UC San Diego and it was a freaking blast. One trip a couple of freshman met these two HOT HOT HOT Latina's and ended up hooking up with them, but the girls wanted to take them across the border into Tijuana to party. Like dumb asses they went....we didn't really have room checks so they got away with it, but morning came around and they still didn't show up....so we are all getting into the vans to go get breakfast and the two dumb asses pull in the parking lot with the girls right in front of the coaches! ha ha ha ha....lets just say that was a long day for us. After our double header we ran poles until we basically couldn't run anymore! ha ha ha Oh, the good memories of San Diego |
