Some cool things being done
Well I stopped in my local shop today. I've mentioned before but he's doing a Twin Turbo Cobra. So far he's got the K-member dropped and a a few other minor things. There's so many boxes and pieces of tubing, it's sweet. He hopes to be done mid next week. Gonna be a 45-50 hour project. They're hoping for 900-1000RWHP on race gas. And this is all on the Stock Cobra engine Wow, kinda scary, i mean seriously, that's a lot of power. Anyways that's that part, I'm gonna try and stop in a few times and take some pics for everyone if there's any interest.
Also, there's a 98 GT in there. The owner put in a 2003 Mach 1 engine, it's sweet. I never knew the 98 stangs are a Return style fuel system tho, and the Mach 1 is a returnless style engine. So instead of doing new fuel lines, he's fabricated and machined a few pieces that is basically converting the engine into a return style. Can't really explain it but ran a new line, it's pretty sweet. He was like "your either watching poetry in motion, or a fireball in motion." LOL The other cool thing about it, it is 100% stock. Talk about a sleeper.
I think that's all I wanted to share for now.

Here's the crazy thing. The Cobra was already doing 600+RWHP with a Whipple Supercharger. The owner wants more, he's nuts. He's also never ran it at the track and everything is still on stock rims and tires, the tires are still very new, but still. My tuner took it out to wash it before he started working on it (tons of salt from the snow), and said he could brake lose in 4th gear. CrAzY!
