I gave it a road test today heading down to MD, warned me of two speed traps, and picked up someone getting hit by lazer in front of me!

The suction cups are holding it between the window and the headliner, and my mirror is holding it firm into place. sometimes i have to push it back or push my mirror up to get it back in place. it sits fine otherwise.

I have a higher end Cobra model, some say they make better paper weights than radar detectors, but it has saved me many times, well worth the price (~130, i didnt buy it my parents did) and i have it monted very high, with the cord hanging down into my cigarette lighter nearest the shifter... you would think that it is incredibly annoying but i dont even notice it (the wire) is there... only time i got pulled was on vacation three hundred miles away from my mustang, and my radar detector. The cobra i have has tons of features, train incoming, emergency vehicle incoming (detects strobe lights) laser, many different types of radar, and talks.
Its fun having one, you notice alot more, you get alot of stray signals, such as 'X alert' when you pass by a supermarket with automatic doors utilizing a sensor... or sometimes the sensors at some stop lights. But if you look around when you are driving and an x alert comes on other people will hit their brakes, case they have one too

X Goes off on all radar detectors...luckily I have a filter, so it removes those stupid X-Band alerts.
