Now before you read this this is not part of my daily driving habit!!!!!lol

aight got a 96 gt 5 speed here the clutch has about half its life in it. I have had the car like 2 1/2 months and today decided to powershift it but not hard just fooling around mabe at like 2500-3000 rmp so i diddnt have a whole lot of rpm when i was in between shifts well when i would let the clutch back out i would hear this high pitched really quick and then its done squeal.??? not sure if its the life of the clutch showing or what but the clutch is pleanty good (no where close to time to replace it) got any ideas????

Maybe your serpentine belt? Mine gives a quick high pitched chirp when it hits second at full throttle. I need to replace it.

actually that sounds kinda logical (serpintine belt that is) thats a good possibility. with the rpm up so high and the clutch being engaged the belt could slip i suppose...ahhhh who knows...
