Good news!
Wife moved out!
I got her an apartment. Spent all day monday helping her pack her ****, all day tuesday getting her **** outta my house, then all day wednesday cleaning the aftermath.
I got my house back!
It blows cause im totally broke, im paying all my mortgage, utilities, bills, etc, as well as her truck payment and giving her 1100 per month cash to help her get on her feet. Once she starts work full time im giving her $600 a month and ill pay for my boys daycare.
dont ask, its a long story, takes forever to explain why im giving her that much, but it gets her out of my house and hopefully this will roll into being the alimony/child support and in a year all i will have to give her is $300 a month in cihld support.
Monday was a pain in the ***. Tuesday sucked because of moving her out. it was easy to slip into routine even though we were gonna get the divorce. When she moved out it was like the final nail in the coffin for my family staying intact. But when ity was finally done it actually felt like a big relief.
its about time something good happened. lol

I hope things are turning around for you Chris. I can't bleive you "have" to pay her so much when it sounds like she does absolutely nothing. I could collect so many boxes of ramen noodles you could build that woman a house. You say the word and I will make it happen. Or I could send you a lifetime supply of noodles. (I'm serious, I will start a collection of non perishables and ship them to you, just shoot me a PM. I can't really help out monetairaly, but I could do that.)

Well, that whole situation sucks, but I'm glad you found some relief.
My friend's parents divorced when he was really young, his mom took his sister to live in Ft Walton, and he stayed with his dad. She works as an urban planner or something for the city and makes almost 6 figures, but his dad STILL has to pay her about $1000/mo as per the terms of the divorce, and he only makes about $30k working at the local community college.
Divorce terms are ******* retarded.

Well the whole divorce thing in colorado blows. it is a big calculator, nothing else matters but the numbers the calculator spits out.
She has about a 50/50 shot of getting any alimony if it goes to the courts because of our short marrige.
if the courts decide in her favor, i wont have enough money left over to pay my bills and still eat. So i would end up foreclosing on my house and lose it, and my credit would be knocked from its mighty 800+ to 600+. I could manage to squat in my house for about a couple years. Pay no mortgage. That would let me get by, pay all my other debts off, and set me up to land on my feet once i stop paying her alimony, but i would hate to lose the house.
If the courts decide in my favor, i dont have to give her **** except $300 a month in child support (as long as i pay all his medical, dental, daycare). I would be sitting fine, she would be SOL. And i wouldnt ever give her a single penny more than the courts require me to, and it wouldnt be enough for her to support logan, i could probably get full custody of him due to financial reasons and not even have to pay child support. She would lose everything.
So, no matter what, i will land on my feet, i will be ok. but i dont want to lose the house.
so it is in her best interest to work on a settlement with me. The plan i have for this settlement scales the amount back when she gets to work full time, and would end after a year except the $300 child support. It is fair, it is far more than i believe she deserves, but this is about self preservation and making sure my son is taken care of. Sometimes it is best to chop off a finger before you end up losing the whole hand.

I do telecommunications. Troubleshooting. In aa nut shell, if somebody cant call an 800 number, or thier caller ID is wrong, or thier phones are down, or calls are dropping, or anything along those lines, im the guy who fixes it. I sit in a cubicle in an office building and do everything remotely. Right now im getting paid quit a bit because o get an extra 7,000 a year to work the evening shift 2-10, plus i have several tax shelters so i can claim several exemptions.I will probaably never hit the 100k club, but i usually clear 50k before fall.

Self Preservation.
If you want anything more detailed than that you have to read all the bullshit you were too lazy to read which would have answered your question in the first place.
