Default new headphones for me

I mentioned to my wife that I would love some full sized headphones instead of the little crappy ones i bought for 40 bucks that only cover half an ear. Here's what I got from the big brown truck today. Man these are about $200 retail. I love my wife. Haven't tried them yet, but I will right soonly..

Awesome! I was really hoping this wasn't going to be a thread about someone buying those lame skullcandy headphones. Let me know how they sound.

Just tried them out. Noise cancelling for one thing. And geez they sound great. I'm not a fan of ear buds or the half sized earphones. These are awesome. I had to make major changes to my equalizer settings I use in my media player.. LOL, for the better. I used to crank it to 11, now I can go 5 or 6 and still get thumped pretty good. I'll be deaf before year's end..

Should've looked at the Shure Studio headphones. They're the best rated from anyplace I've ever looked at.

Or, if you want some serious bass. Try the Dr. Dre Beats lol. They sound gay, but it feels like you're sitting in a car with two 12" subs.

Good pick though. I like the Sony's, always very round with frequency ranges.

Not like Bose, all mids, no highs, no lows.

I have Sennheiser head phones and love them...noise cancelling and are comfortable as hell...have had them for about 3 years payed 50 bucks for them off new egg and have never once had a problem with them...before that I went through about 10 headsets from best buy...had problems with the wires tangling so much they just shread or the ears muffs breaking off from hitting the floor(our house has slate).

These actually cost me nothing. My wifes 25th yr at work award. She got to pick from a catalog of stuff and she didn't find anvthing she liked. So she got me the headphones.

They beat the snot out of the 40 buck half sized earphones I had.. I gave them to my son.. Everyone is happy. Now I got to repay the favor to my lovely wife, Saturday is good for me..
