Default new paint, new hood, new rims

I swapped my old 17's out for some 18's.
I also got my new kaenen hood painted along with my roof...

Also here is my new ricer mod I'm working on.
It should be done next week.
The pics make it look all crappy (and it is because its not close to smoothed or finished), but here is my carbon fiber headliner I'm making. Some people think it is a crap idea, but I've never seen a mustang with one...

Damn, that was fast. Did they have to fill the holes? Where do you get your paint work done?

Hey Dan, The hood lined up perfect with the holes you already drilled.
I forget what the shop was called, I think it was Chantilly auto body.
It was right accross from my work so I just drove over there one afternoon.
I'm working on getting the 99/01 front and 03/04 wing, so hopefully it'll be a silver version of your car in a couple of months

As far as the carbon headliner goes, I had an extra one so I figured I'd try somthing out. If it doesn't look good I'll just swap it over.

Yeah, I never liked the painted roof either until I photoshopped it.
I already got some tinted tails, they are just not on in the pics

sounds like a new trend will start with the roof top paint and back sail window areas, never seen it like that.

Normally see the boyd cottington look of the whole top split paint look, being that I had owned a mach1 that was half blk and red.

I think it would look really kewl if you painted the center of the cowl on your hood, would really go with the roof being painted

I actualy toyed around with a bunch of ideas before doing it.
I photoshopped that idea and also two toning it from the bodyline up, but this looked best too me.

Looks f'n sweeet! That *** is jacked up in the air! Going for the rake look? I would drop it down to match the front.

I like the rake look personally. Mine sits like that with the bottom front isolators removed.

The rear isn't actualy jacked up in the rear that much, my driveway is steeper than the pics make it look. I just had to get the entire roof resprayed again because I spilled super glue on it
I'm gonna detail the car today and take a little photoshoot with some of my friends cars.

Looks good! I live in Reston and need a good honest body shop for painting (that doesn't charge a arm and a leg). What was your expirience with them? Pricey?
