haha... this reminds me of the sh*t I got when my friend's G5 beat me cause I missed second gear. I was able to defer some blame because my transmission was only about ~1500 miles old.



And he didn't really beat me, I was joking around in 1st, then he started catching up so I got on it... Missed the next gear, and he flew past me...


His G5 is not even a GT.

 

Hmmm, Must be nice to be able to street race and not have to worry bout a speeding ticket. OUCH.. LOL.

 

This thread is becoming worthless. I really don't care anymore about a slow car racing another slow car. I should start a thread about driving my wife's civic and racing this dodge caravan. It was awesome. Don't worry, I'll get you guys the video.

I raced that camaro, and It did beat me, which is what I was expecting.
However, my car got off the line first everytime, and I kept the lead until just before the finish both times.
1st race, he beat me by a nose. 1/8 mile.
2nd race, he beat me by a car. 1/4 mile.

So given enough room to stretch his legs, yeah, he'll win.
But it did prove a point to me....he recently raced a friend of mines gt and he says he won,while the gt driver says that HE won, but I dont see how the slowmaro would have won when he barely beat me.
He shifts pretty crappy though.
My friend beat him in his golf vr6 by 3 cars. twice.

Aight im the guy with the GTI VR6 Golf and ive seen in person RD - or needacobra beet the RX-8 on several accounts, hes my cousin, They have edone 1/8th, and half a mile both times mustang won. He has the smallest pakage that you can get for the RX-8, 4 Speed, and not fast off the line at all, my 4 wheeler can beet it off the line. And my GTI waxed his *** several times as well. As far as the Camaro, He has some horrible shifts but when racing the mustang only won by little. All in all doesnt matter though. Call blasphems... To bad its true. Sorry mates he takes care of his mustang.
