I'm just giving an opinion based on years of experience with an extremely trust worthy shotgun. I dont think I would buy a benelli because of the cost, but I do know they are really nice guns. But I kill as much **** as the next guy with my 870.
Well the Mossberg 590SP is a shotgun contracted out to the US military and meets all military-specifications, it's a robust design with not many possibilities for malfunctions.

There is a version of the Rem 870 that is very similar to the M590, and also used by the military, they're both reliable shotguns but I'd just like the Mossberg more, plus everyone and their mother has a Remington 870.

And red, all of the guns I collect see use, I don't buy anything to let it collect dust. Here's what I've got plus my dad and brother's stuff (the two SKS's, 1 Garand, 2 carbines, Ruger P95, remington .22), rest is mine. We have a lot of ammo.

Your right, i'm un-american. I'm not a vegetarian but I wouldn't go out and kill something on my own when i could just go to the grocery store. Thats one less animal killed. I just dont see the point unless you cannot afford to go grocery shopping, and you need to go hunt.

Its funny, if there was a species higher than us, we'd be the ones hiding in the woods. :-P.

I consider hunting for sport as bad as other animal cruelties. Such as dog fighting.

animal cruelty is bull ****

thats why cause they suck

only time i get obnoxious is when im at a track meet runnins 50 sec quarters and 2 min halfs(miles) and then hurdles
im kick *** at hurdles but when i brag and **** ill never put anyone down and i usually wind up coachin half of the kids ive never met in my life anyway

You should go take a hunter safety course, it's really educating on hunting. It's a matter of population control to keep a certain species from becoming too over populated and destabilizing a wildlife habitat. Hunting is tightly controlled to make sure there a limits on certain animals killed. You don't just go out and shoot as many deer as you want. A lot of hunters have more respect for animals than PETA does.

i agree with steeda...i kinda find it odd that as a soceity we are all over animal rights but practise the hunting thing...and so true...i can get my food at the local supermarket...i just dont feel the need to hunt some poor animal down ....

hunting is more than just killing. Its about being outdoors and in touch with nature. And not all hunts end in a kill...its called hunting, not killing. The thrill of the hunt is what hooks me, I get a huge adrenaline rush when I'm on a stalk and I know the animal is close I have to outwit it. Hunters are better protectors of wildlife than any hippy-eco-peta-homo. Why?...because we want the animals to be there....forever. We want the habits to remain untouched by man so that the animals live naturally. Hunters do more for conservation of natural habit than any other group...period.

Actually, the only reason that I hunt is b/c I don't know of anywhere I can buy deer meat. And it's cheaper than anything you can get at the store. I also eat anything that I kill while hunting, unless I get mad and shoot a spider or something.....
