Happy Birthday Duke. He's my hero too... well him and Steve McQueen. hehe.. My grandpa they say was like that too Ripper. He would be 109 if he were still alive. I never knew the man but my dad says he was a great guy but tough as nails. He pulled his own teeth with a pair of pliers. I guess it must have been back in the depression or something and he took a job cutting wood once. He was using an axe and missed and got his own foot and lost a toe or two. He said the "doc" or whatever that was out with them had to saw part of the bone off that was sticking out and was told to bite down on a stick. heheh.. Crazy stuff. heheh..

which is the movie when clint saw the cute girl...never met her but followed her into the barn..smacked her all over the place...threw her on the hay and screwed her?...man hollywood was different back then..i'm pretty sure you go to jail for that these days i still cheer when john wayne kicks down maureen oharas door in the quiet man and throws her on the bed with enough force to break it down
