any pointers on how to accomplish a better time than 14.9? I'm going to take some air out of my tires, but are there any other tricks-of-the-trade that I should know? and NO POWER SHIFTING!!! I'm plannign on keeping this car for a long while with the same tranny/engine

Need more info:

60 foot?

Trap speed? for starters.

I am assuming you had a bad launch. Figure for every 0.1 seconds you can take off your 60 foot, you should drop 0.2 secs in you ET. So, if your your 60 foot was a 2.5, dropping to 2.0 should take off nearly a second.

14.9 hahahaa you should be banned

all i can say is feather clutch, low tire pressure, and shift without butt raping the clutch pedal for 10 minutes
