Default Kidney problems..

So last week I was at work..and I picked up an A/C Unit..that was heavier then I expected, so I sat it down..

I ended up with a pain in my kidney area on my left side...

Now it doesn't hurt when I pee or anything, but if I sit up for too long, or if I bend the wrong way, it hurts. And when I first wake up in the morning..my back is stiff...

I have had these pains before, and I'd normally drink a big bottle of cranberry juice and be fine... but it didn't work this time around..

I was wondering if anyone would possibly know what this could be...or if anyone has been through this

sounds more like a hernia than kidney problems. You should see a doctor though, none of us are going to be able to tell.

I have had both Hernia and Kiddney stones, to me if it feels like it is in the kiddney it is very possible that you dislodged a stone, reading what you said about the cranbeerry jucie tell me you drink lots of soda coffee tea etc..I would suggest seeing a Dr either A stone or hernia need to be addressed soon

went to see a doc... said i probably pulled something back there...gave me pain killers and muscle relaxers...if that doesn't help it in a few days then i go back and they start the exam stuff..

Either way, makes me feel a hell of alot better, don't really want to deal with a stone or a hernia..

Oh and Greg..I thought it was that too, but a few farts later i realised that wasn't the case man.

I had the same problem in Dec. pain in the lower back, left side. I thought I had a kidney stone/or infection. I actually just pinched a nerve or pulled a back muscle. Dam back pains suck. All better here though. Just takes time to heal up.. Specially when yer old like me..

I agree that its either a hernia or a pinched nerve.....my dad had a hernia one time.....but it was his belly button...good luck with everything though!
