Ok well I officially got fired today. There has been an on going issue with me and a body man at the shop. Since the first day I was there I was harrased by him about me having a nice car, me being fat, me and my family and friends. I brought my friends and my mom there to see where i work the first week i was there thats why he was able to say **** about them.

I put up with this **** for 3 monthes until last saturday when he went to far and actually punched me in the shoulder and pushed me into a wall. He started with me earlier that moring and instead of ignoring him like I usually do i got right back in his face and words went flying. I attacked him about his drinking problem, how he couldn't pay his bills for his family, called his wife a good amount on names. He deserved everything i said for what he did to me. He got pissed hit me threw me into a wall i got up decked him right in the face breaking his nose and making a huge bruise on his right cheek.

Moral of the story is I got fired because im the desposable paint prepper and hes the body man who produces more product then me.

Dont you love getting fired when you had no other choice but to stick up for yourself

He was mad because you had a nicer car (civic) than him? What the hell did he drive? lol

Yeah I probably would have punched him out too, did you never speak to your boss about the **** he was doin?

 

i did speak to my boss i was told to deal with it

he drove a 99 taurus and a 95 civic

 

You could actually sue your employer for harrassment if what you say is true. There was a hostile workplace and they did not stop it.

Might be worth a shot.

Chances are he was beat when he was younger and his parents called him a worthless piece of **** all the time and insulted him the same way he did it to you.

People that insult other people for no reason are just insecure about themselves.

Sounds like the body man watched too many episodes of American Hot Rod and thought that is how a real body shop should be. I'd sue the idiots, then again, your 18 and have the whole world ahead of you. Don't waste you time thinking about jerks like that, he deserved what he got and he knows it.

 

I dont even think he notices it hes to much of an *******. Im not worried Iwent out today and got a job at ultimate autobody in bedford hills ny same job as i had before yet im getting paid more 12.75 hr and the cars at this place are more high end

I would be careful if I were you as he can go after you for medical bills. Did you get injured at all?

 

Idk, if it came to a law suit... you can turn it into "self defence" issue saying that he verbally attacked you, which provoked you to verbally attack back, and he went to physical, forcing you to become physical..

As for going after the employer, it might not be a bad idea. But if they got cash..they can afford a decent lawyer, but it wasn't documented or taken care of, ect.

Either way..good job and beating that dudes ***, he deserved it...

If it is a small privately owned shop, then you probably have no recourse. In a bigger company you would have still been fired for fighting. Where I work it's zero tolerance for any violence in the workplace. I feel bad for you though cause i've been there. You have to walk away and boil inside.
But you could also do the exact opposite and kill them with kindess. (this is in a corporate environment I might add). Most of the time being nice will push them over the edge. Just keep documents of things that have happened, not evidence, documents, HR will want them when you persue that M**F**er out of his place of employment.

I have seen guys like that come and go all my life. You aint ever to good that a company can't replace you. Give him enough rope to hang himself then sit back and say HAHA. I still got my job Biatch..

And then if ya see him later on the street. Defend yourself and lay some smakdown on him.

he cant do anything rele seeing as i was defending myself and im going to a lawyer today to find out if i can take some legal action

its a mom and pop shop not a corporation but they gross 3 million a yr so its a big mom and pop shop

 

i would have told my boss to blow it out his a$$
