Default Estimated Price For Parts Install & Tune?

Hey all,
Now of course there are different variables that will make for different prices and price ranges, btu I wanted to try and get some idea of what this will cost me to do.

For labor and time only, what would you estimate the cost to be to have a C.A.I. and Gears installed, and then a dyno-tune done?

Id say about 200-300 for gear install, $20- $50 for CAI install, and tuning will depend on if you have a chip/ tuner or not. If you already have it, then Id say about $200- $275 for just tuning. Its an NA car only needing one tune.

So $650 MAX. You might be able to work out a deal since you're getting all of this done by them.

05GT... CAI's are worth 10-15hp with a good tune. Most CAI's for 05+ do require a bit of tuning to get the car to run right and keep it out of limp mode. Gears... yeah about 250 is a good price. 300 and up is a little tall but not unreasonable.

That is very true, but it being an 05, it has to be tuned anyway, and since I'm going to be having that done, along with having the gears installed, they might as well go ahead and do it.

If I were taking it to a shop nearby me, it would be about $700 for the dyno tune/chip, $400 for gears and they would prolly charge like $30 to put on the CAI.

Yes I paid about $700 for my dyno tune but it was my only option.
