Mazda Rx-8

so what do u guys think of the mazda rx-8? personaly ive driven this car a bunch of times cause my friend had one, and its what i learned stick on. everytime i see one, i wish i could buy it. was one of the nicest feeling cars ive driven and shifts so smoothly, awesome drift car.

but, with all this, its way underpowered. anyone else?

I dunno what i think about them. Thier styling is pretty odd. lol

junk. i like the rx7 the best. third gens were Twin Turboed but easily converted into a huge single turbo setup and made great power. they all sound like crap tho

idk i love the rotary's sound. but i also like some 4 cylinder imports. im not a strict american muscle guy, even tho ive always wanted a trans am ws6

awesome drift car? Your joking right? I drove those cars and they are crap, First gear has NO POWER AT ALL.

idk about that...ive drove it, and my friend was able to drift like crazy with it and all he had was a ram air intake and a chip

1. they're not rice until someone starts throwing fart cans on em n shit
2. Rotary engines are/can be potent little motors
3. Its probably quicker then yer 6 banger

I personally like the rotary engine's design

and they are made by ford

Rotary can put up some serious HP.. even on the 4 banger.. i had a magazine with like a...600hp RX-7..

I don't like the 8s..don't look right to me.. nothing aggressive about it..

As for drifting...sliding around a curb or something..aint drifting..

Idk..cars like evos and supras are better then that i beleive... ;x

yea i agree about the agressiveness, i think they need a nice body kit. but idk sumthing about driving that car i like it so much. i would like to see mazda up the power to 280-300 start turboing it like the rx7 and giving it some forged internals

Idk, I personally think Mazda has one of the nicest all around line ups. Yea, it's not huge, but it's a pretty sporty line up with what they offer. I love the Mazda's. I've test drove a Mazda 3 and looked at a few RX8's (just for fun).

I like the styling of the RX8 a lot, but for power... very very lacking. I've demolished one from a 40 roll to about 80. We ran 3 separate times. O yea, I'm an auto so I ran the whole race in 2nd gear, lol. His was a stick.

yah.. they're great daily drivers...

well my bad, this is a 4 rotor all motor rx-7 not the ls1 swap video i was thinking about, but still, this is pretty damn fast. keep in mind it is only 500hp, but the rx-7 is light
