the school told a bunch of my friends...

1. do not talk to me. I am in alot of trouble. they will get in more trouble (they aren't in any trouble)

2. I am bad. Don't associate yourself with me. Do not talk to me.

3. They have them scared into thinking that we are being watched.

If that doesn't screw my reputaion then idk what does.
They make threats that cause fear.

whats everyones take on this?

It sounds like your trying to get into a pissing contest with the school over things that are damn damn damn hard to prove in court....assuming that's where you'd be going with the whole slander thing. I know in my college Mass Communication's classes we talked a lot about slander/libel and from what I remember the most important thing you can do is establish the truth to the court, however if the remarks of your school are making have any truth to them then you have no case. It's often hard to determine the truth because it's a he said-she said thing. The statments have to be false and damaging to your reputation, which is a whole different thing. I would think it's pretty hard to prove your reputation as a normal joe blow was damaged....and who viewed it as damaged? Your friends? If you were a public figure and the comments damaged your reputation to the community then you might have a chance. Also remember that school probably has unlimited resources and they will drag it out until you don't have any resources left and give up!

Obviously I'm not there so I don't have any idea what's being said or what's true or not cause we are only getting one side of the story, but to be brutally honest the school has to respond to what you/your friends did. They can't let stuff like that slide, so it sounds like your the one they are going after.

Dude, I think your funny and my dealings with you leave me to believe your an honest person and keep to your word, but dude you gotta get your SH** together. I know your just barely in college and yeah, I did stupid stuff in college, but never anything like you did....man, you gotta wake up and start thinking a little bit before you do things or else your going to end up in some serious trouble or just another guy with potential that decided to be a FU**UP rather than doing something with his life!

Simple and to the point. The school is not using it as slander..they are saying it because they don't want other students to get wrapped up in what you did or think of doing anything similar. The school is just looking out for the others which they should.

I think it just goes with the territory of a school. Don't hang out with the bad kids. From what Greg has said about what kids are saying about him at his school, I don't think the higher ups at his school will sway someones decision. Students listen to other students and it seems they have plenty bad to say about Greg.

On this forum you keep bringing up issues relating to race and yell white power at school on top of that. All you say is that you dont mean it that you are jk and everything should be OK. Wake up, you obviously have some issues with race. You cant help it as stated by yourself in countless posts "Im just being Greg" and your partly right, its the way you were raised thats partly to blame. The other blame is on yourself for not recognizing how you are acting , talking and think there is nothing wrong. I have a ton of non white friends... and we joke back and forth and never take offense...

I thinks thats a good thing though... that we can **** around and not step on toes, where 30 miles north of my town, if you look at someone wrong then yer a ****in racist...
