What is the condition of the paint in? Swirls? Oxidation? Scratches?

You need to clay the car right after you wash it....

well the only products you have are not for the perfect detail. If this is a chance to land more work and make bigger bucks then I suggest you go and spend some money to do the job right the first time. Again you have to make a lasting impression and you are working on a highend car.

hard to say without knowing what condition the finish is in. For over the counter stuff and given the short period of time you have you will have to go with meguiars products; which are good products. You should find out or go look and see what condition the car is in. Is that possible?

Clay bar it for sure, Meguires Gold class and NXT stuff is good, but if you want to land the job for sure, invest in a Porter Cable buffer for the future. Thats how the pro's do it, and will make your life easier as well.

i'm suprised nobody else has said www.autopia-carcare.com yet, although with shipping it would probably take more time to get to you than you have.

edit: didn't realize you had to go tommorow but autopia can at least give you tips and how-tos

Hopefully all you do is the detailing and don't have to write up the customers ticket.

you have minimal experience detailing and you are gonna go into bentleys, ferraris, lamborghinis, and porsches?
hahahaha

youve got quite a bit to learn first. read the sticky at the top of the show shine and tunes section. its there for a reason, and this is the main one...

so you did clay bar, turtle wax ice then topped it with MORE WAX IN ps21?

If this is the process you used it is wrong...you did not even prep the paint outside of the claying. You need a swirl remove or polish atleast before applying the wax. Oh and dont apply the turtle wax then top it with ps21; that is

Turtle Wax is a BRAND. Turtle wax ICE is a synthetic polish, not a wax.

uh I know turtle wax is a brand and Turtle wax ICE is (right from the turtle wax site) aka LSP (last step product):

"turtle wax ice is a clear WAX formulated with completely new technology that blends silicone and hydrocarbon polymers to provide extraordinary shine and durability"
