Wow, talk about showing no love for your 2Vs. I've put about $15K (cosmetic and performance mods) into my car. I've seen it transform from a 205rwhp constipated dog to a 415rwhp GT. Any regrets? Nah, I love it. I get compliments nearly everywhere I go now. Not to mention not everyone is expecting my GT to be fast.
If you drive an 03 Cobra, everyone will expect it to have 500+rwhp. If they race you and you happen to win by only a couple car lengths, they'll be unimpressed with your all mighty terminator to say the least.
But if you really want cheap hp and looks aren't a factor, then I'd suggest you get an LS1, or even an SRT4.
