It looks as though you have so much invested in your ride now. It looks better than an 06, so I would say just keep up the good work and carry out any plans you have for it.

For that dow I would search for an 03 cobra, and swap out the visual parts (assuming you still have your stock hood, exhaust exc.). That way you would have a car that has looks and some go.

Heh. I know the feeling though.
Freeway ford is offering up to 4,000 matching down payment.
I could cruise up there, pay 4000 down and they throw in another 4k to make an 8k down payment.

damn thats tempting.

So... how are the new mustangs compared to the 99-04 in driving?

I drove a '05 V6 and it was okay. Would like to drive a GT but it would take a lot more than 4K to make me give up my car. GT500, different story.

The new one's drive and ride alot better.More room and the seat's are damn comfortable. They just seem so damn big though.

I've driven about 5 different 06 Gt's and they are damn fun to drive.Hell the wife's 06 V6 is damn fun to drive also.

+1

I too, have previously thought of trading my stang for an 03 Cobra. But I've invested too much into my GT. At this point, I'm closer to getting my stang to 600hp than getting a terminator, let alone a 600hp Cobra.

Besides, I've grown to love my car. I totally dig the semi-sleeper status. Everyone around my area seems to like it too, since I get lots of props. Lastly, it feels nice to not be in debt. My GT has been paid off 2+ years ago.

Lance, your car is too nice and unique to get rid of. Put a blower on and be done with it. I just shocked the hell out of a kid with a WRX tonight...blower + V8 = fun as hell.
