Yep, our highschool lost their division championship last night to two free-throws with 1.5 seconds to go in the game... and then when we inbounded the ball the other team caught it going out of bounds and bounced it off the knee of our star player. It was a crushing one, a fourty minute drive with facepaint just to walk out of there heads down with all the other school's freshmen mimicking in our ears "undefeated.." and "go home tolland"

Yeah it was pretty ****ty. Please tell me that I'm not the only one to witness that much of a heartbreaker.

Two years ago, my Junior year in HS... Our Men's soccer team is always one of the best in state. We were in the State semi's, up 2-1. We all started chanting 1981 (last time we were in the state championship. It's always held at Ohio State's field which is HUGE). Anyways, with 21 seconds left the other team scored to the goal to make it 2-2. Yea we were CRUSHED.

Shootout: 2-3, we were down with the last kick. My good good friend had the last kick to tie it up, chance to get to State, and with close to 10,000 people watching... he hit the left goal post. It was the worst feeling ever.

We lost last night too, to our biggest rival by like 4 points in overtime (girls basketball). it sucked cause we should've won but our coach sucks (have never heard of anyone that likes him) we were down by like 12 at half time and came back with a 10 point or so run right after the half started and eventually took the lead again, should've won but our coach picked a horrible play with 10 seconds left and we're up by 2

So yea I know how you feel, it's a bummer. it was only quarter finals or semi finals though. We only have a few good players but our coach is an idiot and he subs in a whole new team at the same time (yes all 5) so we never have the best 5 players in :censored:

We won the past two nights and are in the sectional championship tonight...the place is 1 1/2 hrs away...we have spent a total of 12 hrs on a bus.

Well we lost our conference.. I'd really like it if we played them again in States and finally beat them down. I mean if we only lost by two points to the number one seeded team (we're second) then it shouldn't be that difficult to knock em off.

Milos, if you end up at WKU.. you will absolutely love the Hilltopper BB Tradition. Do some research and you will find that the WKU Basketball program is one of the richest in College BB. Diddle arena is the greatest place to see a game.

It's nice to see folks who have pride in thier school. To little of this anymore with all the folks who are so into themselves.

Damn....well fellas we lost our game tonight in overtime. It was a killer. One of our players had 2 ft's to win the game and only hit 1 of them (were were down 1) at the end of regulation. So life sucks pretty badly right now.

yeah no kidding....the funny thing is that its the kid who goes in every morning before school to shoot free throws and still cant make them. The exact same thing happened in a game earlier in the season to...to the exact same kid!!! yeah and I am the kid who has the record at our school for FT percentage, never practices them, and still makes them.
