Default Anybody here workout?

Ive been working out a little here at home. We have a weider home gym, a nice schwinn treadmill with a trillion options, workout ball, you know just a lot of the basic stuff you can get for home. I dont know much about this stuff but im looking to get a little bigger and more toned. Ive seen results from working out natural with no supliments and not watching my eating. I eat like a horse and have a very high motabolism. Im 6'3 and 180-187 pounds fluctuating.

Now I went ahead and bought 780g of xyience nox-cg3 as a workout suppliment after hearing good reviews about it. I dont really want to watch my diet really but ive been told by friends who workout, with suppliments like what Im starting to take, you need to up your calorie intake which is no problem for me. ive been told to make it about 3000 a day. Basically im asking for any kind of tips. Is this Xyience as good as everyone says? Is there something else i should be taking with it or anything? Any type of workout plans which seems to work great?

Like I said, im basically looking to just get a little more defined. Ive been working out a little bit here at home naturally and its working and ive noticed a little bit of a difference in tone but im looking for a little more. I sure dont want to look like crazy huge or anything.

Well I don't want to get big or gain weight but I want to be ripped and toned. The way I would like to look is the way Brad Pitt did in Fight Club. Anyway I changed to a healthier diet and did basic work outs with free weights. I just have an ab roller and do 200 sit ups and 100 push ups each night before I go to bed and have noticed a huge difference. Got some nice abs starting and arms are getting bigger. I don't think you need all that fancy stuff and weight gainer to get the look you are going for.

I go to the gym and lift weights with a buddy every other day...it's GREAT to have a spotter because you can really push your self, and not have to worry about dieing

now i just need to get on those damn aerobic excersizes..LOL

oh and If im not mistaken...less weight + more reps = more defined

All you really need is some creatine and a lot of protein, protein bars, protein shakes, real meat, etc. Consume everyday atleast one protein day and one protein bar, and take creatine, and you will see a lot of results. And then once you see you gained a couple of weight because of muscle gain, take something called "Thermonex" 3 times a day, and work out everyday and you will get ripped. But if you want to skip all that just get some steroids.

Dont mess with those weird suplements, protien is always good, you need as much protien as you can get, creatine is good but its all water weight that you put on so as soon go off you lose it, and Mattj with musle come weight, so the more you work out the more weight you will gain, so your about 180 imagine if you were 200-210 of muscle, you would be huge, remember to eat and dont stop eating, but at the same time dont get lazy and take a day off from your workout plan, you wont see results, I might be able to get a workout plan for you, Ill see if i can find some of my old ones.

I've been working out for about the last 9 months now (there wasn't anything else to do in Iraq), and I'll tell you what worked for me. Try to take in 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of your body weight every day (protein shakes are the easiest way). You really don't have to watch what you eat too much, just eat healthy. Go to the gym for about 1 to 1.5 hours a day, working a different part each day. Right now I'm going chest, arms, back, legs & shoulders, day off. I go more weight, less reps (I try to stick to about 6-8 reps) b/c I'm trying to gain strength. If you're wanting to get more cut, put the reps at about 12 and use less weight. If you really want to take supplements (if you start working out, you will want to), I would suggest NO-Xplode. Stuff's great. Doing exactly what I just said took me from 195lbs to 210 in about 6 months and I dropped a lot of body fat. Be warned: more weight is addicting. I started benching just under 200 with the same intent as you. The last time I maxed out was 335 twice (345 was a disaster, glad I use a spotter). Stick to your game plan and you'll get there. Good luck with the gym

I just cant get into the treadmills, they are so boring. I play basketball about three times a week and i workout at a small facility at the workplace, during lunch. I am 6' 1' 212lbs but i am shooting for 195. I just started taking Hydroxycut. I will be 39 years old this week so i needed something to boost my metabolism a little.

I've been working out for a few years now off and on. I usually go about 5-6 days a week now. I reached a plateau a few months ago and I haven't really seen much gains since then. I'm trying hard to get out of the rut. It's tough and I would kind of like to avoid supplements but I might have to.

MattJ if you want to get more toned and defined I have heard nitric oxide is a good supplement for that. I'm sure they have a few options for it at GNC. Some people mentioned creatine but I don't know if that'd be good for your case. You will definitely gain muscle but you also can pick up a little fat in the belly from it. They say if you're going to use creatine use it in cycles so you can then burn some of the fat off.

i've always heard it's pointless to do more reps.. ive heard you should only be able to do about 10-15 reps until you feel it.. if you're not feeling it, add more weight /shrugs

build muscle for strength= more weight less reps.

Get toned= less weight more reps.

I go like 4-5 days a week for hour-hour 1/2 its not big deal to me i go for toned as i am allready a natural big guy at 6'1 210. I would take a multi vatimin too i didnt belive it till i tried but i feel better and have more energy since i started taking those suckers. I take the GNC sport mens multi vatimin.

I used to work out 5-6 times a week. I'm 5'8 and when i was in the gym i was pushing 185. ( I bulk up really easy) Never took any supplements or anything like that. If you are going to take them though...i would def NOT take creatine. If you take it, not only does it mess your kidneys up bad, the weight that you put on will make you look "puffy". It's not a toned weight. Then when you get off it...it'll sag. So i suggest staying away from that. If you do take them though....protein is always good. Good luck man

No-Xplode is the best supplement you can buy. Take it from me, since I sell the ****, along with what you have. Just follow the directions, work-out for about 40 minutes, time will show.

my bro's like a freakin body builder. his fat intake for the day is a shot of olive oil. i myself prefer going to the gym. home gyms are ok if you dont have time to go to a real gym. a gym has certain machines to workout a certain muscle. in my opinion and many others, you get a better workout. and also its nice to see all the girls at the gym

You will be able to accomplish your goal by simply a good diet and proper workout habits. Up you protein intake. 2 times your body weight in protein. Sounds hard but it really isn't. A shake 30 grams, protein bar for 30 (detour/Uturn are good ones), chicken breast for lunch (about 6ounces is a decent size), Eggs w/ cheese, Tuna, etc. Try to eat 5-6 times a day of "good" food and it'll allow your body to rebuild all the muscle fiber that you break down when you work out and speed up your metabolism to define what you build. A good multi-vitamin is great as well. Sort of like for back up. It'll fill what ever gaps that you missed in your diet. Plenty of water, and plenty of rest. Some good things to eat are chicken breast, red meat/steak, Greens(spinach, asparagus, etc. the darker the green the better), almonds, yogurt with fresh fruit, whole wheats (oatmeal w/fruits, whole wheat bread), olive oil, and caffiene isn't bad once in a while to help speed up that heart rate to burn calories. (coffee/chocolate in moderations) Try to make breakfast your largest meal of the day. Grab some protein in between your normal 3 meals a day and small snack about 2 hours before bed.

Good thing is that if your able to eat all that then you probably won't be hungry for crap like mcdonald's etc. Stick to it, don't skip a meal, even if your not hungry, 'cause when you do get your hungry you'll be ravenous!

Work out regular with about 1/2 hour of cardio 3 times a week you should be able to crush the jaw bone of mule with a head lock before you know it!

LOL. this is how im losing weight.

1st, get off the crappy fastfood crap. I still dig eating a big ol fat bacon/guac/burger with jalapenos and a bucket of fries, but since i started eating healthier a meal like that just makes me feel like crap.

next, go buy 90 80lb bags of cement from homedepot and a walk maker. Schlep all that back to the house and start mixing cement by hand, dragging one bag at a time out to the yard, mix, fill the walk maker, grab another bag, repeat. LOL. Ive got this bitching cobblestone looking pad that im wrapping around the hot tub and down the side of the yard. about 7,000+lbs of cement. ROFL.

Thats some good work there! Ive got a bitchin tan, lost about 10 lbs in the past 2 weeks, and im feelin great, and the visual appeal of my house is kickin ass. this is the first stage in building my own "Grotto" Ill attach a pic of the first 28 bags i used.

after im done with this im gonna rip out my deck and build a new one. Also gotta build a new form around the hot tub. Heh. Ever see a fat landscaper? if ya did, he just started. <grin>
