Has anyone ever put xenon/ white lights in there mustang with out changing the entire headlight unit but just changing the bulb, if so have you had any problems with the bulb getting to hott and it screwing up the headlight unit or screwing up the electrical wires etc.
your input would be greatly appreciated

Some ol' kragen sourced off the shelf super white's wont hurt a bit. Just a different spectrum. Looks ok, i like the color of the whiter light more at night but that's a preference.
If you get some higher watt bulbs you may have problems with wire heating but you have to special order stuff like that normally. Most places don't stock them.

I think the stock volt.watt is like 55/65 or something like that. I tried some hid wanna be's when i first got my car 3 yrs ago, took about 5 mths for them to burn out my drivers side headlight wiring harness. Spend your money elsewhere. Go with some sylvannia sylvertars, they use the stock volt. current and is an awsome upgrade to stock halogens..
