Default Omfg this is pissing me off..

Im trying to install a new stereo player in my car, and i cant even get past the ******* first step. Ive been trying to maybe 3 hours with NO progress at all. Trying to remove the stock stereo even with the stupid keys meant to remove it, is not working at all. The left side will pop out somewhat, but the passenger side of the stereo wont budge a ******* inch. Every time the stupid tools slide out, ive tried taking out the shifter bezel and pushing with my hand but no luck, tried using a flattip for leverage, nothing. Tried just manhandling it out from the left side and i cant overpower it, help me..

Edit: Sorry im working on the CD player not the stereo.

Try pushing outwards on the forks while pulling out.

I doubt best buy would know how, im tempted to take it to an auto shop that i know and do a few other things while im at it. Im getting sick of putting hours into my car and accomplishing not a ******* thing. I even talked to tech support at crutchfield and they dunno why its not working. Fml and my car.

Best Buy installed mine 8 years ago with no issues. They removed the lower CD player and installed a worthless pocket.

Finally got the communist ****, i was doing something so simple to overlook but so stupid. Basically i was pushing the tools/pins as far in as they could go, henceforth making them useless. I took a look at the old stereo and figured it out. No i just gotta get my new kenwood out so i can paint the interior peice silver..This looks very daunting as well because the keys they have suck. Did they not charge you for the compartment? I had to buy one from LMR for like 50 ****** bux.

Dude calm down. You sound like 13 year old girl whining. It's not that difficult. I'm assuming your new head unit is a single din? If so, you shouldn't have paid $50 for the little storage pocket thing to fill in the other slot. It would've been cheaper to buy an 04 bezel and gotten a double din head unit. Anyways, just take your time and plan out what your are going to do. It's really not that hard.
