Default Everything about shifting

... you will probably ever need to know. All covered in one little article I found while bs'ing on google.

http://www.waycoolinc.com/z3/essenti...e/shifting.htm

topics covered, "how to":
- upshift (like no one knows how to do that..)
- downshift
- powershift (pro's and con's)
- double clutching/rev matching
- and more!

Just thought I'd post this resource for those wanting to learn more about driving manual trannies

Not bad, but still basic. Thanks for sharing it though, this is the kind of information a lot of people need.

My only fault w/ it is the article states that powershifting is not as quick as the person's personal technique. Though that point becomes a contradiction as it states later that's it's better for drag racing, where shift speed does matter.

I think what the person was trying to say was there's no point in doing something that COULD cause teeth grinding on the regular, but if you race or drag then it's okay because you probably know the risks and/or have the money to replace it

but that's just my take on it
