Default Air Filter??

I recently went to clean my air filter and noticed the thing wasn't even there. I have a aftermarket intake that goes in the finderwell and my gas milage has been horrible for awhile now. I know the maf sensor has like a net thing that would catch something big. I don't know if something is fucked up are not.

try cleaning the maf, and then getting a filter put on that thing, see if that helps...

Go by some Mass Air Flow cleaner and do exactly what it says and get a Air Filter as well. That should be able to fix the problem.

nosman757- you will need an air filter to bolt on. Definitely using MAF cleaner will help it.

Same thing happpen to me my filter fell off somehow and my car ran like **** while it didn't have a filter on there those auto zones spectre filter work pretty good on staying on there the rubber seems to grip better onto the metal rather than the K&N that fell off numerous times. Clean maf and you should be good 2 go and put the filter of course.

I just cleaned my Mass Air Flow Sensor again and it's running just fine. I'm glad my air filter doesn't fall off.

My dad is going to bring me the extra filter but I just hope I didn't mess anything up in the process.
