Default Royal Purple 5w20 Oil

Ok..don't wanna sound like a retard but is this the right oil for an 03 GT 4.6?? Pretty sure it is..just want to make sure. And also I am gonn abe changing it myself and it's the first time i've changed the oil on a Mustang, so how much oil am I gonna need> is it 4.6L or am I wrong? Thank you for whoever helps my dumbass.

the answers can be found in your car manual...quantities oil type and weight.

royal purple is expensive. to each their own i suppose.


to help you out a bit

i use 5.5 quarts and motorcraft 820-s oil filter. i have a 2000 so i run 5w30 i dont know about 2003 mustangs.

NOTE: make sure the old oil seal comes off with the old filter.

The manual calls for 6 quarts of 5W-20. However, check your dipstick to make sure the oil level is good and if it isn't, add more until it is good (usually another 1/2 qt tops). Good is right in the middle of the Min and Max markings.
