I would like to shave some weight off my heavy @$$ convert., but I'm not sure what the stock bumper, hood, etc is made of. Spent some time looking, but couldn't find anything, so if anyone knows off hand, it'll really help me out. Not trying to get into the carbon vs fiberglass vs urethane debate, just trying to figure the OEM stuff.
Thanks

Hood is fiberglass. Instead of removing weight just add more power.

I don't know about 94-98 verts but 99-04's have a big ass metal brace underneath the oil pan which for all practical purposes is useless. That thing weighs about 25 lbs, so I'd ditch if your stang has it..
