Default Brake issues....help

I installed my SLP line lock kit today and bleed the brakes. I tested the solenoid switch and can hear the solenoid click. The problem is the freakin brakes are locked! No matter what position the switch is in....they are locked. The brake pedal is rock solid too. I disconnected the electrical leads to the solenoid but it didn't change a thing.

So, what is my next step? Could the solenoid be bad? Any suggestions?

called SLP today and they think the solenoid is bad. Now I get to remove it and send it back.

I should have contacted AM first since that is where I bought it but I sent it to SLP already. It is frustrating when you get a new part....install it and get ready for some fun just to find out that the part is bad. Oh well, I hope they take care of me. I already had to pay for shipping to get the bad part back to them. IMO, they should have paid for that since it was a defective solenoid. Oh well, hopefully a new one will be on it's way soon.

It happens to the best of us. I had gotten a posi for my f150 was told by the store selling it was correct. I told them the F150s take a larger cross pin then the mustangs do he says oh i know thats the right part. Go and pay 300bucks to get 4.10's and the posi installed. And what do you know its the wrong part. Had to pay 300 2 times to get a posi installed.

That sucks.

I just hope after I install it for the 2nd time it works ok. Makes me wonder about the quality of that part though. When I called them, they wanted to know where I bought it. Are they tracking the vendors that have the bad ones or what? Oh well, I hope it will only cost me the $9.00 to ship it back and the time to re-install it.

Sounds like me when I was buying the diff cover gasket. I asked for the gasket for a 8.8" Ford and they brought me one that was for a Dana rear. I said that the 8.8" was sqaureish and they said no, I'm wrong. To top it off, there was no listing for a 03 Mustang GT. So, I go to another store and same deal. However, I tell them to look it up for a 93 Mustang GT and what do you, I get the right one. Luckily for me, they showed me the gasket before I bought it.
