Default Auto - Manual Tran swap

Okay b4 I even start this port just letting you know i'm tottaly new to working on cars. I know some of the basics but i'm still all shady. I was just wondering how hard it is to do a Auto to a manuel transmission swap on a 99 v6. Also is it even worth it, or would I be better off selling it and just buying a GT or something. My brother is all into cars and stuff so equipment and hands to help out isn't a problem, just everytime I ask him a dumbass question he just laughs at me.

Do you want to put a manual into a V6? Do you also want to swap in a V8 or just the tranny?

http://www.2kgt.com/ This site has the complete list of parts, pictures, and step by step instructions.....great site for other tech articles too.
Disclaimer: that is not my site, it is a guy from another website, that sent me the link to his homepage when I was thinking of doing the swap.

Unless you're set on the car you own becuse of sentimental value, it would be more worth it to sell your car and buy one thats a stick.
